Greetings,

 December will be a busy month at the Lodge.  Our Memorial Service will be in Eveleth on Sunday December 3 with lunch at noon and the service beginning at 1:00 pm.  

December 1 the Elks will be serving Hot Chocolate at Stuff the Ambulance at the corner of Grant and Jones.  There will be llamas and other animals for the kids to see.

Santa will be visiting our Lodge before Christmas.  He will be there on Tuesday, December 5 starting at 5 pm.  Bring the kids and grandkids up to visit Santa.  We will have free Hot Dogs and other treats for the children.  This will be a regular Burger Nite, so burgers and chicken sandwiches will be available. 

The Elks Family Bonspiel is scheduled for December 9 at Curl Mesabi.  We would like to see families come and enjoy curling.  $25/person teams of 4 will be made.  On January 10 the Eveleth Elks will hold their Annual Elks Hoop Shoot at the Laurentian Elementary School in Eveleth.  Registration starts at 11 am and shooting starts at noon.  Following the shoot hot dogs and the awards ceremony will be held at the Eveleth Elks.  Stick around for the Viking Game at 3, it should be a fun day.

The Eveleth Elks will hold their traditional Tom and Jerry Party on Saturday, December 16 starting at 4:00 pm.  We will start with free Tom and Jerrys (our bar will be open for other drink options).  There will be some sandwiches and goodies for those that are a little hungry.  Then at 5:00 “Jammin Joe” will provide some music for dancing.  This is a great opportunity for Eveleth Elks to get together.  Come up and enjoy.

I hope each member will be able to visit the Lodge, see how good it looks and participate in one of our activities in the months to come.  We will continue to have Burger Nite on Tuesdays; however we will not have Friday Meals again until January.  Pizzas, large and small are available at the bar as well as nachos.
