Greetings,

When I was at L&M today, they had a huge Christmas display by the check-outs.  You couldn’t miss it as you were leaving the store.  Christmas stockings, lanterns, gnomes and other Christmas décor.  It isn’t even Halloween yet.  I am sure most of you have your Fall or Halloween decorations out already and like me, you are probably hoping we have a few more nice fall warm fall days.  

We are looking for more kitchen helpers for some of the Tuesdays and Fridays in the months to come.  Please go and sign up on Signup Genius or give me a call.  George is having his knee replaced on October 2, so I am loosing my right hand man in the kitchen.

We are getting so excited about our 100th Birthday of our Building which will be held on Saturday, October 28.   Happy Hour will start at 4:30 pm, dinner at 5:00 pm, and music at 6:00 pm.  We are planning BBQ Ribs and Cheesy Potatoes.  Please text me at 218 404-0729 to make a reservation.  Or you can call me at 216 744-2639.  Please try to dress in an outfit representing any Era between 1923 and 2023.  There will be prizes.  We have many door prizes and Jammin Joe will provide the music.  The price is only $15 per person.

On November 4 all the men will be out hunting so the Eveleth Elks will be hosting their regular Ladies Day from 10am-4pm.   The lunch is going to be Chicken Alfredo.
