Hello members.  Happy November!

Veterans Day is November 11th and of course: “As long as there are veterans, the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks will not forget them”.

Our lodge has stepped up year after year in support of our lodge veterans, Local nursing and veterans homes, hospitals and the homeless transitioning into housing with the Welcome Home kits and providing supplies and move-in help to area homeless veterans. 

Having seen the smiles and appreciation from so many, I can’t tell you how proud I am to represent the Elks Veterans Service program. 

For 77 years this National program has given grants and resources to provide what each lodge needs to support veterans and their families. 

Read our National Elks magazine and you will see some inspirational stories of what our fellow lodges around the country are doing to show appreciation to veterans everywhere. 

**The lodge will once again serve a free meal to veterans and their spouses. Thanks in advance to our volunteer cooks. 

We can do more with a few more volunteers and ideas so make a suggestion and see what happens!
