Greetings,
January started off with our Elks Doheny Bonspiel. Eighteen teams participated and a good time was had by all. The Trustees are working hard to raise funds for the air conditioning. They held their first spaghetti dinner on January 6 and will hold two more on the first Saturdays of February and March. Please come up for one or more of these dinners, spaghetti, garlic bread and cole slaw. You will enjoy it. We also had music bingo in January which many enjoyed.

Our February 1 meeting will be PER night. Past Exalted Rulers will fill the chairs and they will be doing the traditional Ritual, not the short form. Some of our officers have never see this Ritual. Feb. 3 will be the spaghetti dinner. Purse Bingo will be held on February 10 so go online and sign up. On February 24 we are heading to the Virginia Lodge to host a Community Meal. We are invited local homeless people to come for soup and sandwiches and we will have hats, coats, gloves and mittens to keep them warm the rest of the winter. We will also be giving bags of protein snacks for them to take home. Looking forward to working with the Virginia Lodge on this project.

If you have not signed up for the Wild Bus Trip, please do so soon. The date of the game is March 30, it is a 2:00 pm game against Las Vegas Knights. Hammer and Mel make sure we have plenty of snacks and beverages on the bus and it should be a good game.

We continue to have our Tuesday Burger Nites and our Friday meals and Bingo so stop up at the lodge, we would love to see you.
